Tracking & Reporting

Meta Pixel, server-side tracking and Supermetrics dashboards that show what’s actually working.

Meta PixelServer-Side APISupermetricsiOS Tracking

Every other page on this site talks about scoring creative, rebuilding landing pages, and reallocating budget toward what wins. None of that means anything if the tracking underneath it is broken, half-set-up, or quietly missing events. So this is the part I set up first, not last — and the part I never hand off to a plugin and hope for the best.

A campaign report is only as honest as the tracking behind it. I’d rather spend a day getting that right than a month arguing about numbers nobody trusts.

What actually gets set up

01

Pixel, checked properly

Meta Pixel implementation verified against real events firing with the right values — not just “the pixel is technically installed.”

02

Server-side tracking

Set up wherever browser-only tracking isn’t enough — iOS tracking loss and ad blockers make this the line between knowing and guessing.

03

Supermetrics dashboards

The numbers that actually matter pulled into one place, instead of five different ad platform logins that never agree with each other.

04

Reporting that decides things

Weekly or monthly, built from the same dashboards used to make day-to-day decisions — not a separate deck assembled for show right before a call.

Proof this isn’t theoretical

This exact setup is how a value-comparison ad creative got caught doing 5.65% CTR while a pain-led variant on the same account quietly burned budget with zero conversions. The tracking made the gap obvious enough, inside the first reporting cycle, that there was no argument about which one to kill — no waiting for a “statistically significant” sample that would have cost another week of wasted spend.

Why this stays with me, not a plugin

A Pixel that’s “installed” and a Pixel that’s actually trustworthy are two different things. I’d rather check the events myself once — the right event, firing at the right moment, with the right value attached — than discover three months in that half the conversions were never being counted, or worse, that the wrong ones were, and every decision since had been based on a number that was quietly lying the whole time.

The part nobody notices until it’s missing

Good tracking is invisible when it works. Nobody thanks the Pixel for firing correctly. But the moment it’s wrong — double-counting purchases, missing mobile conversions, attributing a sale to the wrong campaign — every decision built on top of it inherits the mistake. That’s the actual cost of skipping this step, and it compounds quietly for as long as it goes unnoticed.

What you actually get

A reporting cadence that fits how the account moves — and a dashboard you can look at yourself, any time, instead of waiting for a monthly call to find out what happened to the budget. No jargon, no vanity charts. Just spend, results, and what changed since the last report.

Questions worth asking before we start

What if tracking is already set up, just not trusted?+

That’s the most common starting point, actually. The audit checks whether events are firing correctly and with the right values before anything gets rebuilt from scratch — sometimes it’s a small fix, not a full teardown.

Do you work with tools other than Supermetrics?+

Supermetrics is what I use because it pulls everything into one place reliably, but the underlying principle — clean Pixel and server-side events feeding an honest dashboard — isn’t tied to one specific tool.

Let’s find your winning angle.

If you’ve got a budget going to ads or a landing page that isn’t converting, I’ll tell you straight whether I can move the number.
