Proof, not promises

Angle Bankası

A 6-dimension scoring framework built in Node.js + Google Sheets, used to score 60+ ads before they ever touched a budget.

Angle Bankası started as a personal scorecard — a way to judge my own ad hooks before I’d let them anywhere near a client’s budget. It’s since become the framework every piece of creative that ships through velingrey has to pass through first, no exceptions, no “this one feels right so let’s skip the scoring.”

If I can’t explain why an angle scored well before it runs, it doesn’t run.

A real scorecard, not a hypothetical one

Here’s an actual score, dimension by dimension, exactly as it came out of the sheet:

Hook
9/10
Clarity
8/10
Proof
6/10
Differentiation
8/10
CTA
9/10

Hook, Clarity, Differentiation and CTA all scored high enough to ship as-is. Proof came in at 6/10 with a specific note attached — “needs a number” — and got fixed before launch instead of shipping on hope and finding out the hard way three days into the flight.

The sixth dimension: persuasion

Beyond the five scored above, every angle also gets judged on persuasion — whether the whole thing actually moves someone from first line to click, not just whether each individual piece is technically fine on its own. An ad can score well on all five other dimensions and still fall flat if it never adds up to a reason to act.

Why it’s a spreadsheet, not a SaaS product

Angle Bankası runs on Node.js and Google Sheets on purpose. No login, no subscription, no dashboard that needs maintaining — just a structured, growing record of every angle scored, why it scored that way, and what happened when it ran. Sixty-plus ads deep and still the first stop before any budget moves, because the value was never the software, it was the discipline of never skipping the step.

Why a spreadsheet beats a fancier tool here

Plenty of creative-scoring tools exist as polished SaaS products with logins and dashboards. None of them know the specific angles, offers and audiences this framework has been tuned against, one scored ad at a time. A spreadsheet that fits exactly how I actually work beats a generic tool that fits nobody in particular — and it’s easier to change the moment a dimension needs adjusting.

What it’s caught

It’s the same framework that flagged a value-comparison hook as a likely winner before it went on to hit 5.65% CTR — and the same framework that would have flagged the pain-led variant that burned budget with zero conversions, if it had been scored with the same discipline before it launched.

Questions worth asking before we start

Is Angle Bankası something I get access to, or a service you run?+

It’s the framework behind the work I do, not a self-serve tool — every angle in a paid ads or creative testing engagement gets run through it as part of the process, at no extra step for you.

What happens to an angle that scores badly?+

It gets fixed against the specific dimension it failed on, or dropped entirely if it can’t be fixed without changing the whole idea. Either way, it doesn’t reach a budget until it clears the bar.

Let’s find your winning angle.

If you’ve got a budget going to ads or a landing page that isn’t converting, I’ll tell you straight whether I can move the number.
